Thank You Everyone

Thanks everyone who came to the leadership lunch today. I really enjoyed speaking about something that I'm very passionate about. Now lets get out here and participate. I received a lot of surveys and all your comments will be reviewed and gone over by marketing council. We have a large number of upgrades we want to make to the site over the next year. If you have any suggestions for changes and didn't put them in the survey, or want to discuss them then please leave a comment here.

Our traffic has been slowly increasing the last few weeks, and I want to see that continue through the holidays. Encourage your friends to sign up and join in our discussions.

If anyone needs a password or anything feel free to send me a message through the site. I usually respond within 24 hours to my messages.

I'm attaching my powerpoint if you want to review some of what I spoke about. I know it is basic and just a small part of what I had to say but here it is.

Great Job!

You did a great job of explaining the information in a relevant, relatable way without going over our heads or coming across as patronizing. That is a hard mix to achieve!

I was JUST thinking this a.m. that I would like to know how to set up an RSS feed.

Kirkham Systems should be happy to have you! (See how I did that whole link thing?!?!!)

Spiders...

Jill is trying to keep the spiders busy.

Wink

I'm a little arachnaphobic

I doubt I spelled that correctly.  I don't like most spiders, but search engine spiders are great.

Thanks Jill

I appreciate everyone in YEL.   I'm very blessed to be a part of this organization and work with so many people that are passionate about our community and  what they can do for it.

"I see Spiders"

Shayne, your presentation was one of the most informative- as well interesting topic I have heard since being a YEL member. It was obvious to me that you highly enjoy what you do, because your passion for it was amplified throughout your entire presentation.

"Only passion, great passion, can elevate the soul to great things."

BTW, I shared with my kids about search engine SPIDERS and won several cool points (Very hard to do with four teenagers.)

Again, great job!

p.s. What an awesome family pic! Laughing

Great info

Shayne,

Thanks so much for the insightful information about the fast-paced world of information technology and its evolvement in Fort Smith.  I found it very informative and interesting.

I have a lot more to share

I'd really like to teach everyone how to use Google Reader and RSS technology which will allow you all to stay up-to-date with all your YEL website stuff, local and world news, sports or anything else your interested in a much more time efficent way.

Maybe I'll try to explain it online.  I'm not a very good writer however.

You have much more to share!  How else are you to be blessed?  Thank you for taking the time after yesterday's meeting to attempt to explain RSS to me.  I for one would be very interested to see what you have to share in that department submitted here on.  Despite your plea to inability in the writing department, you are a very effective communicator in that medium as well as verbal communication.  So please share on.  We are eager to learn.
