Insurance Claims- Things to inspect...
There are things that your adjuster may notice that you just don't- that's the good thing about trusting your insurance company!
1. Are the vents on your roof dented?
2. Are your gutters dented?
3. Your air conditioner thingy outsite- is it dented? Pay attention to the sides-not just the top...
4. Your shingles may not show damage immediately. Notice during the next good rain if you see a lot of 'shingle granuals' washing off of your roof. Do you see little dark spots where it looks like 'someone from up above' beat it with a hammer?
5. Do you have a metal awning? Check it for dents.
If your car is dented, then it's safe to assume your roof is also. If in doubt, call your insurance company's adjuster out to inspect. If you are worried that they will "up your rates", don't be. Insurance companies can't "up your rates" over an "ACT OF GOD"(hail). Your rates are based regionaly, not individually when it comes to "Acts of God".
Hope this helps someone. Praying can't hurt.
