City Director Campaign update

Just 5 days left til election day. Have you voted early yet?

From the very beginning our campaign has been a team effort of so many young professionals. This is not a campaign to get Travis on the board of city directors. This is a campaign to bring young professionalism and real change to our city governemnt. I can't express to you how much I appreciate everyone who has stepped up and helped in some way. Running for office is definitely a humbling experience. And having so many young people involved has been a great motivator. We have one more weekend to do some door-to-door campaigning so if anyone wants to help please let me know. As stated before you get a free "Friends of Travis" t-shirt.

I'd like to ask everyone who supports the cause to bring young professionalism and change to the city board to please make a financial contribution. It can be $5, $25 or $100, it doesn't matter. Any amount will be greatly appreciated and put to good use. We've put together some great mail pieces, signs, ads, t-shirts, etc and the invoices are beginning to come due. To donate online just go to http://www.friendsoftravis.com/

Despite the repeated negative attacks from our opponent's corner, the campaign is going extremely well. I met with the Times Record editorial staff earlier in the week and they will announce which candidates they will be endorsing in Sunday's paper. Help us finish strong! Vote - Donate - Knock on Doors - Spread the Word!
