YEL Members Have Opportunity to Serve
Submitted by Jill McCormick on February 19, 2008 - 7:17pm.As many of you have heard and read, the City of Fort Smith is undergoing quite a few changes within its Board of Directors and city administrative personnel. While this is a difficult time for our city, YEL also believes that this is an opportunity for young leaders to step up and make a positive contribution to our city by actively engaging in city politics, including running for office. We hope that many young professionals in our city take this less-than-ideal situation to create something positive: an opportunity to put our mission where our mouth is.
