Call For Volunteers!!
Submitted by Maggie Lewis on April 2, 2008 - 1:10pm.City of Fort Smith's Good Neighbor's Day is Saturday, April 19th! We have a variety of projects that range from painting/scraping, yard work, graffiti removal, and general carpentry type items.
We need volunteers!
We have projects that fit all skill levels and timeframes! If you can't volunteer on a Saturday there are still projects for you.
Neighborhood Meetings - Ordinance Prohibiting Parking on the Grass

The City of Fort Smith will conduct a series of neighborhood meetings to gather input from citizens on a proposal to prohibit parking vehicles on grass on residentially developed properties. The meetings are scheduled as follows:

The air was clear and cool, the lights were twinkling, and it truly made me smile and remember the sweet memories from my childhood.
The train runs Monday through Saturday, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. through Christmas... yet another reason life's worth living in Fort Smith!
