Hello!  I've just recently started the Global Marketing Communications & Advertising (GMCA) program at Emerson College in Boston, MA.  It's really exciting to be in a new city...although I do miss home.  The time that I spent in FSM was a GREAT thing for me as it really helped me with some experiences that I can now use and SHARE with my new classmates from ALL over the world!  I'm just getting back into the school-groove after the 4-year professional experience in FSM.  Things are busy, busy but well worth it!  Interestingly enough, my classmates (37 total of us that have the same schedule and go through the program as a cohort experience) represent many, many countries from all over: China, Tailand, Canada, Venequela, Switzerland, Sweden, Dubai, Cambodia, South Korea, India, France, Denmark...I may be missing some!  And as much as I'm interested in hearing about the different cultures, I do bring some Southern USA goodness to each/every discussion.  Everyone is just as fascinated with FSM as I am with his/her "home."  I sport my FSM t-shirts (STILL WAITING ON MY YEL T-SHIRT!) with pride and know that I am truly blessed to have this experience!  

I'm happy that I've been able to be a part of such a great organization as YEL and am sooo excited that it's already been one YEAR!  Congratulations to everyone on such a great year, and I know that the new Leadership Council will do great things!
