Yes, my real name is Rham. Well, that's my middle name. My first name is Nick. I answer to both. I'm considering using "Nick-Rham" as my call. You know, like "Billy Bob" or "Mary-Beth" I've not heard of "Nick-Rham" - yes, let's go with that!
I work in radio. I've always said that working in radio is better than working for a living! I started my career in 1999 as a part-time disc jockey at KISR 93. I then moved to full-time nights (7p-12a), then to afternoons (3p-7p), then a short run with Fred on the morning show. I now work for Cumulus Broadcasting as the program director of 102.7 The Vibe, The Greater Fort Smith Region's top 40 powerhouse! I've also recently moved into the selling/marketing side of radio and work part-time as a sales account executive, and online media strategist. Being in the business almost 10 years, I can honestly say that I know radio, inside and out. Love it? Yeah, I must!
My motto in life is "ALWAYS stay busy and NEVER be bored." Or is it "Learn always to be excessive in moderation." That pretty much fits my personality. I'm a single father of two. Dexter, a black chow shepard mix, and Ruby, a...umm.....mutt. Love them both (if they would just stop digging up my backyard!!)
My hobbies include writing and producing songs in my home studio, reading, drinking, yard work, and playing golf. LOVE GOLF. Some may even consider me one of the greatest golfers of all time...I haven't met them yet though. I have quite the sick addiction to the game and am always ready to play. I'm also an avid thespian at the Fort Smith Little Theatre (www.fslt.org) I've been involved since '03 and think it's one of the greatest organizations in this city. If you are interested in getting involved, ask me!
I love this city and am always interested in doing things that will help it grow. Being in radio I believe gives me an edge in helping make that happen.
