Okay… I’ll start with some quick facts and then provide some insight about me.
I’ve been working for Data-Tronics Corp. (in Fort Smith, AR) for the last 15 years – most currently as the Senior Account Analyst of Software Engineering within our Intranet department. I have worked within many programming areas and have progressively evolved with increasing amounts of responsibility. My areas of expertise include web-site design, user-interface design and usability, and ASP and .NET development. I graduated college from Arkansas Tech University (ATU) in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a minor in Business. I joined YEL in January of 2007 and immediately joined the Networking Committee for YEL.
I grew up just north of Chicago and moved to Arkansas some time ago. I enjoy traveling and experiencing the many things that life has to offer. I enjoy and am comfortable playing a variety of sports, such as cycling, golf, water-skiing, snow skiing, snowmobiling to name a few– either playing them or being a spectator. Cycling is one of my passions that I have been doing all of my life – as it keeps me in both physical and mental shape, along with playing guitar. I am a software engineer during the day and do some web-sites for businesses on the side. I find the art of designing user-interfaces fascinating. I am very educated, properly mannered, and well-travelled. I am independent, successful, and motivated. I love life, particularly my own. I truly have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, and choose to spend most of my time learning in one facet or another. I'm extremely ambitious and want to do anything and everything that sounds fun... and often times are willing to do things that aren't fun, it’s all about the experience and making the best of it.
I am affectionate, passionate, a good listener, and easy to get along with. I appreciate physical fitness as well as its rewards. I enjoy meeting new people and trying to understand them. I’m constantly learning more and more about myself, my friends, and society. I love to watch people interact; it fascinates me. I’ve seen the things that are not so important in life and know what I don't want in my life.
