Crisis Center for Women Children's Charity Event Was A Hit!!!

Greetings YEL'ers!

The "Enchanted Forest" party donated to the crisis center by SweetBash was a success!  We got some much needed help from our own Sherry Sims and Fort Smith's Confectionately Yours!

Under Utilized Parental Tools - Time, Attention, Vigilance and the V-Chip

Last night, I sauntered up the stairs to kiss my 11 year old goodnight.  When I arrived at his half-opened door, I was horrified to see some man dressed in a garder and hot pink top being cuffed and stuffed into the back of a police car on his television screen.

"Malcolm!"  I gasped.

"Oh...Mom..." he stuttered as he fumbled his remote control while trying to change the channel to "Suite Life of Jack and Cody" (a Disney show).

Finally, www.sweetbash.com is up and running!!

Hi everyone!

If you've got a moment, please check out the new website for SweetBash, my children's party planning service.  I know there are still some bugs to be worked out, however, I would like some feedback if you could.  Any feedback is welcome....criticisms, compliments and advice are ALL helpful!

2006 saw 570 million vacation days wasted by the American work-aholics...Ashville NC to take action!

An indicator of the overworked American public is the statistic of 570 million American vaction days that were allowed to expire last year. This afternoon on Fox2News was a story about a group in Ashville North Carolina that calls itself "The Friends of The Five Day Weekend". They started a publicity stunt, MySpace blog on the notion of a five day weekend (starting on Teusday)that quickly gained a fan base. They jokingly purposed that the issue be presented to congress.
