About Me

I'm not a Fort Smith native, but have been here for 3 years and this region is home, and I want nothing more than for the city and region to prosper!  I grew up in a small town of Cove, AR, but have familly all over Texas and throughout the county!
I've played sports all my life from elementary to college, and I have even worked for a professional baseball team!
When I moved to Fort Smith, I worked for the Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce and met tons of interesting people!  During my time at the Chamber, I developed strong ties to the city and the region, and want to help this community realize some of it's potential!  So I was more than willing to help the 10 other amazing young professionals that the Chamber charged with creating a young professionals network for the region.
Currently I am the vice-chair of YEL and now I work at the Univeristy of Arkansas - Fort Smith in the Student Activities Department. When I'm not working or taking part in YEL activities, my husband, John and I have fun travelling, boating, playing sports, and generally doing things outdoors!

2008 Regional Air Show needs your help!

The 188th Fighter Wing, as well as, the Fort Chaffee Community Council are hard at work, in preparation for the 2008 show featuring the Air Force Thunderbirds.  The show dates are May 17 & 18.

Members of the 188th/Fort Chaffee Community Council are knocking on doors, raising money for the civilian acts that will round out the air show. Not for donations, but for corporate chalets, sponsorships, and official air show program ad placements.
