Eat at Burger King this month and benefit Single Parent Scholarship Fund
Submitted by Christy Williams on March 10, 2008 - 8:21am.During the month of March, Burger King will donate $.10 to Single Parent Scholarship Fund for every receipt that is collected. Even if you only buy a drink, SPSF gets $.10. There are boxes on the front counters of all BK locations in Fort Smith, Van Buren and Alma.
Single Parent Scholarship Fund is a United Way agency that provides supplemental financial assistance to single parents who are attending college or trade school in order to improve their income-earning potential and provide for their families without government assistance.
Lunch Fundraiser at Outback Steakhouse - July 20
Submitted by Christy Williams on July 12, 2007 - 9:13am.Help support Single Parent Scholarship Fund by eating at Outback Steakhouse Friday, July 20 between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. For only $15 you can enjoy your choice of steak or chicken, caesar salad, honey wheat bread, your choice of cold beverage and cheesecake for dessert. Carry-out meals are available. You can purchase a ticket at the July 17 Leadership Luncheon, by calling me at 434-6171 or at the door next Friday. Delivery will be available if others in your office also purchase meals.
