Travis Stephens
About Me

Greetings fellow young professionals.

You all know me as the past chairman for the Young Emerging Leaders but for those of you who don't know me personally let me tell you a little about myself.

I am a loan officer for Bank of the Ozarks. My beautiful wife's name is Kelli and we have 4 (that's right - FOUR) amazing daughters; Kaitlin, Kalli, Kennedy and Kamryn.

When I'm not banking or yelling I enjoy spending quality time with my wife (when we can), playing with my girls and watching them grow, coaching softball, coaching volleyball, going for a run, competing in just about anything, traveling to new places, meeting new people, giving back to my community, fantasy football and all things Razorback.

I hope you are benefitting from YEL. YEL strives to give young professionals a chance to network both socially and professionally. If you have any ideas on how to make yel even better, have an idea for an event or just want to get more involved please let the Leadership Council know.

If you want to get in touch with me give me a call at 650-3274 or email me at twsteph22@sbcglobal.net

Why not us?

I think it's great that this area is finally getting some semi-professional sporting events. I encourage everyone to take their families for a brief car ride up I-540 to Springdale and enjoy a nice afternoon at a state of the art new minor league ballpark. While you're there be sure to swing by the Jones Center for some senior recreational activities and some family ice-skating. On your way out of town be sure to check out the All-Star Sports Complex where the youth of NWA are practicing soccer, baseball, volleyball and basketball year round in-doors.

Attention Entrepreneurs

I'm sure by now everyone is familiar with the new IEC (that's "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center" for those that aren't) that opened it's doors in downtown Fort Smith late last year.

There was a great article in the "The Morning News" newspaper, which circulates in northwest Arkansas, over the weekend. Check it out...
